The dashing striker from a solo run and an equally brilliant finish, scored the all-important winning goal which earned Reserve Bank a close 1-0 win against challengers HDFC in the final played at the Cooperage ground on Saturday.
Reserve Bank received the Champions Trophy and a cash award of R40,000 from former India goalkeeper and WIFA, CEO Henry Menezes.
HDFC received the runners-up trophy and a cash prize of R20,000. Abhishek, who scored consistently through the league, got R5,000 for being the 'Player of the tournament'.
