Rehan Shaikh led Fatima High School's (Vidyavihar) fightback on Day Two of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association-Mumbai Indians Harris Shield Elite Div tie against IES New English (Bandra) at Cross Maidan yesterday
Fatima, who are making their Elite Div debut in the tournament, were bowled out for 163 on Day One. In reply, IES posted 198, registering a first innings lead of 35 runs, before being bowled out.

Yesterday however, Rehan Shaikh turned the tables once again in Fatima’s favour, scoring an unbeaten 184 under pressure. This, after clinching two crucial IES wickets — middle order batsmen Suvarna Rohan (23) LBW and Tejas Shetty (0) clean bowled — earlier in the day through his medium pace.
Then, coming in at No 4, 14-year-old Rehan hammered a quickfire 172-ball 184 (including 27 boundaries & three sixes) to help Fatima end the day on 284-3.
Meanwhile at Azad Maidan, IES VN Sule Guruji skipper Shreyas Kemkar carried on from his overnight 104 and went on to score a mammoth 303 not out as the Dadar side beat St Mary’s ICSE (Mazgaon) by a whopping 617 runs.u00a0
