Yamaha recalls YZF-R3 after detecting defects

Yamaha recalls YZF-R3 after detecting defects


Yamaha YZF-R3 Recalled


India Yamaha Motor recently recalled some of its 321-cc YZF-R3 motorcycles after the parent company, Yamaha Motor Co Ltd, detected defects in its fuel tank bracket and main switch sub-assembly. Yamaha has announced that this will affect 1,155 motorcycles in the Indian market and have offered to replace the faulty parts with new, modified ones at no cost at Yamaha dealerships. The company will be getting in touch with their customers soon.



Maruti Suzuki launches its Limited Edition Ertiga


Since its launch in 2012, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has sold three-lakh decent units to date. It gets a new body colour, alloy wheels, white ambient lighting, wood-finish interior and better seat covers. It will be available only in the VXi and VDi variants, priced at R7.85 lakh and R8.10 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively. They are available in three colours: Exquisite Maroon, Silky Silver and Superior White.


New Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster Launched

The new 718 Cayman and Boxster are now available in India at R81.63 lakh and R85.52 lakh (both ex-showroom) respectively. The new 718 duo are powered by a twin-turbo 2.0-litre flat-four, which develops 300 PS and 380 Nm of torque. When equipped with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and the Sport Chrono Package, both cars claim to shift from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 275 km/h.
