Rio de Janeiro: Indian archers Bombayla Devi and Deepika Kumari bowed out of the Rio Olympics after going down to their compatriots in the 1/8 eliminations round of the women's individual category here on Thursday.
While Bombayla lost to Mexican Alejandra Valencia 102-104 (26-28, 23-26, 27-28, 23-25) at the Sambodromo arena.

Deepika went down to Taipei's Ting Tan Ya 27-28, 26-29, 27-30 at the Sambodromo arena.
With their loss, India's campaign in women's archery at the 31st Rio Olympics has come to an end.
