Riteish Deshmukh's touching tribute to his father Vilasrao Deshmukh on 70th birth anniversary
Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh paid a touching tribute to his late father Vilasrao Deshmukh on his 70th birth anniversary on Tuesday through a series of posts on Twitter.
Riteish posted a heart-wrenching message for his father that read, "Happy Birthday PAPPA : the father that you were to me, is what I aspire to be to my son. #70thBirthAnniversary"
His doting wife Genelia was quick to reply and wrote, "I can guarantee Pappa would be very proud of the father you are to your son."

Riteish further tweeted, "Vilasrao Deshmukh: The only Sarpanch to ever become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra: #70thBirthAnniversary"
Riteish revealed in one of his tweets that he is with his son Riaan in his hometown Latur to commemorate his father's 70th birth anniversary.

He shared the above picture of him in a train at Latur station and wrote, "Reached Latur: Riaan's 1st train journey 2 his roots, his village, his home 4 his grand fathers 70thBirthAnniversary."
He also retweeted a picture shared by his sister-in-law Aditi Amit Deshmukh which captured her memories with her father-in-law Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Aditi wrote, "This is one of my favourite photographs with you. Happy Bday. Thinking of you. #GharPravesh #FondMemories", to which Riteish added, "Priceless."

Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was critically ill with kidney and liver failures, passed away on August 14, 2012 due to multiple organ failure.
