More so because in the film, the pup actually helps Riteish’s character make some quick buck.

The pug pup, aptly named Fakhruddin in the film (with all pun intended), is a donor dog according to sources associated with the film and is used for breeding — off whom Riteish unabashedly makes money!
When contacted, Riteish admitted that he had a helluva time with the cute creature and spoke adoringly of him. “What can I say, as the saying goes, a dog is man’s best friend and Fakhruddin is my short-cut to money in the film.
