Rohit Roy wanted Hangal for 'Shaukeen' remake

Rohit Roy was was hoping to cast A.K. Hangal in the remake of 1982 film 'Shaukeen', but rues his wish will remain unfulfilled after the veteran actor's demise Sunday

Hangal played Inder Sen, one of the three old men in the Basu Chatterjee movie, which also features Ashok Kumar and Utpal Dutt.u00a0Rohit was set to direct a new age version of the movie, with Bipasha Basu in the lead, and wished Hangal could have shot a cameo for it.
