Wayne Rooney celebrated his 26th birthday with two Manchester City stars just few hours after being humiliated 6-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday, according to reports in The Sun.
City goalkeeper Joe Hart and midfielder Gareth Barry attended the Man United striker's bash at a Chinese restaurant. Hart, 25, was accompanied by his girlfriend Kimberly Crew and Barry, 30, was with wife Louise.
Rooney had hired the entire restaurant for the evening and guests tucked into a banquet before singing karaoke.
Onlookers were stunned to see the Man City duo turn up: "I did a double-take when I saw the City lads walk in. But it shows what a great sport Wayne is to party the night away with his arch-rivals especially after they gave United such a hammering. We were half expecting the doormen to turn them away."
Manchester United will be looking to get over the 6-1 humiliation with a win in today's League Cup tie against Aldershot.
