Russell Brand has revealed that he almost had to have one of his legs amputated when he was hooked on heroin.
The 37-year-old comedian, who has been clean for over 10 years, said that he suffered such a bad gash to his leg during a crazed day in a park that doctors warned him he might lose it, the Sun reported.
He added that he woke up in hospital and the doctors told him that they would have had to amputate his legs if it had gone the other way.u00a0
