Russell Brand under fire for views on terrorism
London: Russell Brand recently caused fury for accusing USA of terrorism as Taliban target Pakistan school on the same day.
The comedian tweeted a link to a YouTube video in which he interviewed former Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg and wrote that the people who do "terror" best are the people who decide what "terror" was, according to a leading media house.
Nate Anderson commented on the post by stating that the timings of the post by Brand were very bad. Brand's interview with Begg was titled: "CIA Torture – Guantanamo Bay Prisoner Lifts Lid: Russell Brand The Trews." Begg was held by the US government after being arrested in 2002 before being released three years later.
