Sachin Tendulkar's fan account, on Thursday shared a childhood picture on his account on Instagram saying 'Down the memory lane. #tbt'. Interestingly, the picture chosen has Vinod Kambli in it.

Even though, the childhood buddies and ex-Mumbai teammates do not share the same bond now, it was really heart-warming for fans to see a rare picture of Kambli and Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar, in an interview long ago, had made a rare comment on childhood friend Vinod Kambli, saying that both of them were different individuals with distinct lifestyles.
While Kambli on the other hand had quoted, "I wish he could have taken my name in his speech because I was expecting him to at least mention our world record partnership because it was from there that we started... it was a career-changing innings. I was definitely hurt," post Sachin's retirement in 2013.
The duo had famously put up a 664-run world record stand at school level.
