Delhi police has arrested a 30-year-old employee of a travel agency for allegedly raping a woman yesterday afternoon in Vasant Kunj area of south Delhi.
According to the police, the 26-year-old woman was allegedly raped in a hotel room. The matter came to light after the victim reported the incident to cops through a PCR call made at 2:10 pm. The police rushed to the spot and the accused, later identified as Khem Krishna Mitra was arrested from the spot.
The victim, a resident of Buddh Vihar who worked as a sales executive, has alleged that the man called her to his hotel room and then raped her.

"We received a call and rushed to the spot and apprehended the accused. Medico-legal certificate (MLC) of the victim confirmed rape following which we registered a formal case and arrested the accused. He is a native of Nimaj in Madhya Pradesh and was on tour in," said a senior police officer investigating the case.
