Salman Khan seems to be on an all-time career high. While the actor is being offered nothing short of Rs 100 crore for every film he signs, buzz is that for the sixth season of his reality show Bigg Boss, Sallu is receiving a whopping amount of Rs 40 crore.
A source from the industry says, “Salman’s stock seems to be rising day by day. While on the film front, he is the only actor to have as many as four films in the Rs 100 crore club with Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger, producers such as Ramesh Taurani and Subhash Ghai are offering him as much as Rs 100 crore for every film he does with them.” On the other hand, Salman has apparently also signed a soft drink brand endorsement for around Rs 20 crore.
Another source adds, “Since the past two seasons, Salman has been the biggest driving force behind the show and ever since he has come in, the TRP’s of the show have skyrocketed. It’s only natural that they pay him so much.” A source from the channel states, “His presence on the show justifies the Rs 40 crore amount that is being paid to him.” We sent an SMS to the channel representative and Salman’s business manager but they chose not to revert.
