Salman Khan gifts Arpita a flat in Bandra as wedding present

Apart from a royal wedding in Hyderabad, Salman Khan has also gifted his dear sister, Arpita, a swanky sea-facing apartment off Carter Road in Bandra

Apart from a big, fat wedding, Salman Khan has also gifted his dear sister, Arpita, a swanky sea-facing apartment in Bandra.

A source says, "Arpita will stay at Pacific Heights in Rizvi Complex, off Carter Road. As Aayush's family is based in New Delhi, this will be her marital home in Mumbai."

Adds the source, "Arpita's family members wanted her to stay in Bandra, not too far from Galaxy Apartments. So they felt this was the best option for her. Moreover, Aayush harbours acting aspirations, so he will also be spending more time in Mumbai."

The Khans are said to own the apartment and had lived there for a few months when Galaxy Apartments was being renovated last year.

"The building has the best of amenities and the upper floors have an unrestricted view of the sea. Each floor has only one apartment," adds the source.

Incidentally, her elder sister Alvira Agnihotri also stays in the same highrise.

In the past, there was buzz that Salman's alleged romantic interest, Romanian actress Lulia Vantur who featured in an item song in 'O Teri', had been put up there for some time.
