Sources say that Salman Khan has left for Los Angeles for his routine medical check-up. The actor has just finished shooting for the promos of reality show, 'Bigg Boss 8', and it is being said that he will make several stops before going to LA. Says a source, "The actor has gone to Dubai from where he will travel to Toronto for a show and then to LA for his routine medical check-up."

It may be pointed out that the actor underwent treatment of trigeminal neuralgia and a brain aneurysm back in 2011. Since then, the actor has been advised to go to LA regularly for his medical check up. The source says, "It is a annual medical check up that the actor has gone for."

This means that this time around, Salman will not be in Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in the city. “He will go to Dubai from LA on September 8 and then return to Mumbai on September 13,” says the source.

It is also being said that once he’s back, he will start shooting for Bigg Boss, which goes on air next month. “After this, he will resume shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s film, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, on September 23. As it happens, the sets of his show and his film are quite close to each other,” says the source.
