Jackson - a veteran of more than 140 films – confessed that he even performed on stage and screen, when he was high but no one noticed.
However, when his wife and daughter found him unconscious on the kitchen floor, a wrap of cocaine at his side, he knew that he had taken himself dangerously close to the edge.
It was the final straw, and he realised that he could suffer the same fate as his father, who died an alcoholic, or lose his beloved wife LaTanya and daughter Zoe, and checked himself into rehab.
Two weeks after he came out of the rehab he landed his first major screen role in ‘Jungle Fever’ – as a crack addict.
