Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend, Sangeeta Bijlani is helping promote his charitable and philanthropic initiative 'Being Human'
Recently, Salman Khan's philanthropic, charitable initiative and clothing line 'Being Human' completed 5 years since its inception. Salman Khan is known for being a man with a golden heart, ensures the functioning of his initiative and over the years the foundation has shown tremendous growth and has helped several needy and underprivileged people. According to a story in T2online Salman Khan stopped the shoot in the middle of a chase scene, and it has everything to do with 'Being Human'. During an action sequence in Austria, there was a group of trained dogs who were supposed to follow the actor as he takes the lead.

However, one particular female dog from the group was constantly seen looking behind during the chase. It was later revealed that the she had recently given birth to little pups, who were kept behind a van, and that's where her attention was going. When Salman was told about this, he stopped the shoot until he got the mother and children to reunite. Salman, being the animal lover he is, took time off to play with the newborns and even ensured the pups were adopted by several members of the crew, so that they are taken care of. Eventually, the female dog was replaced, which gave her time to spend with her babies, and the shoot was resumed.
Joining him in promoting his initiative is actress Sangeeta Bijlani. Sangeeta Bijlani, recently celebrated 'Childrens Day' by visiting a girls home. She has posted a picture of her visit with the girls from the home.
It is also a well-established fact that Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani were in a serious relationship back in the 90s. While the reasons of their split were unknown, both moved on with other people. Sangeeta was married to former Indian cricket skipper, Mohammad Azharuddin. However, post her divorce with Azharuddin, Sangeeta is back on cordial terms with Salman Khan and his family. Sangeeta is seen attending several events with the 'Khan' parivaar and is also present in soirees, where Salman's rumoured flame Iulia Vantur also is present. A few years back Salman Khan had revealed on Kapil Sharma's show revealed how Sangeeta had helped him loosen up when it came to dancing in films.
The star detests matching steps with choreographers and prefers to do his own thing. He revealed that while shooting for one of his yesteryear flicks, he just could not see himself getting jiggy to certain steps and it was Sangeeta who put his fears to rest.
