When the screening of 'Masaan' in Benaras (the film's backdrop) was delayed by two hours due to technical issues, veteran actor Sanjay Mishra turned entertainer for the 600-plus people at the theatre.

Mishra, who plays Richa Chadda's conservative father in the critically-acclaimed film, went up on stage and shared some fun anecdotes from his life with the audience. His co-actor Varun Grover soon joined him in engaging the attendees with their sense of humour.

"The film started and then stopped and didn't run for over an hour. So everyone started saying that we need to keep the audience entertained. So when I took to the stage, I introduced myself as an actor to a live audience for the first time ever. It was a lovely experience," says Sanjay Mishra.
