Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman were named in the SCG's best-ever Australian and World XI teams yesterday.
"Players will be receiving a special 100th Test cap on the morning of the first day to commemorate the special occasion. Besides that, we will be inviting 12 of the best Australian artists to set up easels around the ground and the Members' reserve to commemorate the 100th Test on canvas.
The proceeds of will go to the McGrath Foundation," SCG Trust spokesperson Greg Campbell told MiD DAY.u00a0 Australia and England played the first Test at SCG in February 1882.
