Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has risked reopening old wounds with sir Alex Ferguson after attacking Manchester United stalwart Paul Scholes.
Wenger said: "Scholes is one of the greatest players in England, but there is a dark side to him. I don't think he is a fair player and there isu00a0 something in him I do not like.
"He is absolutely fantastic and, when he has the ball, he can find anybody and his influence on United is huge.

"You say about the quality of his play and who wouldn't want a Paul Scholes in his side? And then you ask if he is a fair player.u00a0 I'm sorry, for me he is not. "Is he dirty? Or clever? It depends on what you think is dirty or clever.
I respect him as a player but I do not like some of the things he has done on the pitch and I have the right to say that. Heu00a0 is a guy who likes his tackles.
