Giving it back
“It’s really nice to come back to the factory to celebrate the achievement with the whole team,” said Vettel.u00a0“Obviously, there are a certain number of people who are at every race, but there are many people behind what happens at the track, who are just as dedicated and passionate about the job we do. It’s a pleasure to come here to the factory and say thank youu00a0to them.

“They put in a lot more hours here than I do, so it’s nice to give a little bit back.”u00a0Horner added: “You only have to walk around the factory here to see the determination, the desire and the enjoyment people have in working at this team. We’ve come a long way in a pretty short space of time and there’s tremendous pride in everything we’ve achieved collectively.

To have won and defended our title are things we are all enormously proud of. So it is very gratifying to celebrate these latest titles here with Sebastian, who I think has done an outstanding job this year and who has yet again raised the bar. The level he has driven at this year has been absolutely magnificent.
After meeting the media, Vettel rejoined Horner and Newey for a team celebration.

Back to work
And, after the applause for the achievements, it was back to work. The next goal? “The next race,” said the German. u00a0“We go to Austin next week and I’m looking forward to it already.”u00a0
