Serena Williams will be seen on the cover of Vogue this April, proving she can be smokin' hot off the court too. The tennis champ has been featured on the magazine cover before, but this is the first time she will be going solo.

The World No 1 opens up about the different dimensions to her personality to the magazine saying that the Serena off the court is nothing like the confident player on it.

"Off court, I am constantly crying or complaining," she said. If you think you have body issues, it may come as a surprise to you that Serena, who is the epitome of athletic fitness has them too. Talking about her being in two minds about her naturally muscular physique she has said, "I hated my arms. I wanted them to look soft."

Rock solid support
On another tack, she speaks about her friendship with Caroline Wozniacki and about the time Caroline broke off her engagement with Irish golfer Rory McIlroy last May. "I was devastated. I had planned the bachelorette party!" Williams was quoted by the magazine as saying.

Never one to be satisfied easily, she says, "I feel like I have a desire to be better than ever. I am never, ever, satisfied. I always want to do more, be more, reach a new level. Not just in tennis but in everything I do."

Of course, when it is about Serena, Venus has to crop up somewhere. Talking about the famous sibling rivalry she said, "I don't look at Venus on the court. I can't. If I am winning, I might feel sorry for her. If I'm losing, I will want to knock her out."

Previously, Serena had spoken about how she wished to start a family and have children, but now she shrugs. "I guess. I'm not even looking for it."

She has said how she plans to expand her interest in fashion beyond her current clothing line on the Home Shopping Network into something more high-end and also increase her philanthropic activities. Commerce and kindness, that's a winning doubles combination.
