According to a report in PTI, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate DK Mulla suggested the former India wicketkeeper on September 12 while hearing a complaint filed by Mongia's mother Gyandevi. His mother alleged torture and domestic violence from his son and daughter-in-law.
“This is a matter that involves your family and it’s better if you sort it out,” the judge suggested to Mongia.
