Veteran actress and social activist Shabana Azmi, who will be seen playing a crucial role in the upcoming film “Neerja”, says she is not comfortable with dogs and had a tough time shooting with a pomeranian on the set.
“The things an actor has to do! I'm not a friend of dogs but I had a pomeranian jump all over me and lick my face as i cuddled it for a shot,” the 64-year-old posted on Twitter on Sunday.
In another post, Shabana wrote: “Have been shooting intensely emotional scenes in day and happy song at nite for Neerja. And then we are asked why actors are neurotic?”
“The only way to deal with d heat on the set is to surrender to it and focus on your work”
“Neerja”, a biopic on Neerja Bhanot -- a flight attendant who sacrificed her life to save passengers of a Pan Am plane that had been hijacked, stars Sonam Kapoor in the title role.
