Shah Rukh Khan gets on Mumbai Express to promote 'Raees'

In a bid to promote his upcoming crime-thriller, 'Raees', Shah Rukh Khan is set to take a train ride from Mumbai to Delhi, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Rahul Dholakia might accompany the actor

In a bid to promote his upcoming crime-thriller, Raees, Shah Rukh Khan is set to take a train ride from Mumbai to Delhi. According to sources, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Rahul Dholakia will also accompany the actor. "The train is August Kranti which will leave Bombay Central at 5 pm and reach Hazrat Nizamuddin station at 10.55 am next day," says the source.

"The train will halt at several stations including Vapi, Surat, Baruch, Baroda, Ratlam, Kota, Savai Modhopur and Mathura. The team wants to combine the work trip with a fair share of play," added the source. SRK will also apparently get off at all the stations to promote the film.

"The film’s team is currently trying to obtain the necessary permissions and is looking into issues like security. Shah Rukh is also planning to mingle with his co-passengers and distribute merchandise like sunglasses and lockets, which he wears in the film," informs the source.

Set in Gujarat, Raees touches upon the crumbling of the alcohol industry in the state among other illegal activities. In the past, Imtiaz Ali, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had hopped on to a Delhi bound train to promote their film Tamasha.
