Keerti Kelkar who plays Simar on COLORS' Sasural Simar Ka said, "Ganesh Chaturthi is one of my favorite festivals and this time we are getting an eco-friendly Ganpati idol. Every year during the festival, we do Ganesh puja and aarti with our close friends and family. Usually I prefer doing the decorations by myself but since I have a hectic work schedule, it might be difficult this year. I am looking forward to welcoming 'bappa' at home and celebrating the occasion with my family and friends.


Swarda Thigale
Swarda Thigale who plays Dr Saanchi on COLORS' Savitri Devi College and hospital said, "I was hoping to visit my native place, Pune, for Ganesh Chaturthi. However, this year I won't be able to do so due to my hectic work schedule and I will celebrate the occasion with a Ganesh Staphna at my home in Mumbai along with family and close friends."

Prachi Shah
Prachi Shah who plays Sharda on COLORS' Ek Shringaar. Swabhimaan said, "This year I will be performing at the prestigious festival of Chakradhar Mahotsav on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. It is my way of offering my prayers to Lord Ganesha by dedicating my classical dance performance to him."

Shilpa Shirodkar
Shilpa Shirodkar who plays Jaya on COLORS' Savitri Devi College and hospital said, "Every year during Ganesh Utsav, I eagerly await welcoming 'ganpati bappa' home. For me it is about taking care of him, pampering him with delicious food and decorating the house with lights and flowers. Moreover, it is about the 'aartis' that I love singing to the Lord and this is a feeling that I cannot express in words."

Saurabh Raj Jain
Saurabh Raj Jain who plays Mahadev on COLORS' Mahakaali said, "This will be the second consecutive year that we will be welcoming 'ganpati bappa' home and I am really looking forward to celebrating the occasion with close friends and family."
