It has been reported that Madhu Mahanand took her own life because she was depressed by the sudden death of her favourite star. It is being said that she closely followed the developments in her case and was so disturbed that on Wednesday, she hung herself from the ceiling in front of her two-year-old son.

The matter came to light when her husband, Nakul came home to find the door locked and his wife dead. Nakul was later detained for questioning, but Madhu's parents testified for him and got him out.
Pratyusha Banerjee, 24, was found dead at her home in Mumbai on April 1, in a suspected case of suicide due to stress in her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.
