Mumbai-based store Bliss has set up their first outlet in the city. We dropped in for a dekko

You know a store is going to rock it, when you fall in love with everything that's on display. And that is exactly what we experienced when we visited Bliss, a multi-designer lifestyle store, which recently opened its doors to Pune's shoppers.

A fine boutique with a lot of colourful, creative designs, it stocks products by over 60 designers. Owned by Mallika Desai Thakker, the store offers "something for everyone". And it's true, because as soon as you walk into the store, you just want to grab everything off the shelf.

When we first walked into the store, we immediately noticed the cabinet with four drawers pasted with printed images of artistes, such as Elvis Presley. It was love at first sight, which somehow vanished once we read the Rs 8,000 price tag.The store has been sectioned into three parts, which includes a changing room, a main room and a room by the entrance. It's almost like a treasure hunt at the store to search for what you are looking for since all the stuff has been displayed randomly.

So, you might find home accessories by Pop Goes the Art, QuirkBox and HaathiChaap placed on one shelf alongwithu00a0 fashion accessories byu00a0 Ek Karkhana, CheapSex and All Things Bright & Beautiful placed in the same
section.

Every product on display is unique as they have been handpicked and placed keeping the consumer and designer in mind. For instance, who would have thought you could turn your old aluminum bucket into a cushioned stool to sit on or have an old movie CD converted into a table clock. Quirky and fun! They also have cool headgear, funky shorts, contemporary rings, designer tunics and footwear. The price range of products available at the store starts from Rs 50 onwards.

The other designers that stock their products at the store include Happily Unmarried, Chumbak, Tuesday Afternoon, A.D.I.E, A.I.K.O, Bhusattva and there are also T-shirts by Neil Dantas, SheepStop, Ediots, Spyra, Semblance, Princesse K, BASH, Swa, Designerds, Ekarkhana and CheapSex. All in all, it's a riot of colours in here and lends itself to some bliss-ful moments indeed.
