She had replaced another actress in the commercial and the company was hopeful that it would work wonders for them. So, they offered her Rs 4 crore to be the face of the brand. But they are not happy as the commercial failed to connect with their target customers.”

It is said that the recent makeover of this actress, who has mostly been typecast so far, didn’t help shed her old image. Another source says, “She has been working hard but the brand has faced losses after signing her. Therefore, they have chosen not to renew their contract with her.

This decision has been a setback for the actress and her team is trying to cajole the brand to think about it. On her part, the actress has now asked her team to pull up their socks and get better endorsement offers for her.”
