He recently presented a film that has been winning appreciation from all quarters. But it seems as though this well-known producer doesn’t like the idea of his directors getting all the limelight. If sources are to be believed, he has specifically asked his PR machinery to make him the mouthpiece for all his films.

Apparently, he doesn’t approve of media houses approaching his directors for interactions. It is said that due to this reason, a couple of directors have now stopped working with him.

According to a source, this producer and his wife are friends with most mediapersons and PR executives; the duo apparently wants to ensure that he is constantly in the news. “He and his wife have instructed their PR company to only use his quotes and his photographs for stories related to their movies.

They don’t want their directors to get the same media attention. This has already caused some friction between the producer and some of his directors, but the former believes that he is the captain of the ship. Since he spends the money on marketing and PR, he thinks that he should be talking to the media, and not them,” says a source.

Now we wouldn’t be surprised if the publicity-hungry producer wanted a ‘big photograph’ to be carried alongside this story too.
