A complete shutdown is being observed today across the Kashmir valley against the killing of three youths at Pattan in Baramulla District

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed on Wednesday across the Kashmir valley against the killing of three youths at Pattan in Baramulla District.


The shutdown is being called by Geelani group of Hurriyat conference and will be supported by all other separatist leaders.


All shops, schools and government offices have been closed and public transport are effected due to the shutdown.


The authorities have deployed police and CRPF jawans at vital places to maintain law and order and stop any type of protest.

On Wednesday, the bodies of three youths were found in an orchard in Shooch village of Pattan of the Baramulla District.The deceased were identified as Amir Reshi, Ashiq Ahmad and Naveed Khan.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief Yasin Malik was on Tuesday detained by the police in Sangrama area of Baramulla district for calling a protest against three 'mysterious killings' in less than 24 hours.
