Silence observed, but why not on Day One itself?

Players from Indian and Australian teams observed a moment's silence for the Hyderabad blast victims before the start of Day Two of the ongoing second Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal yesterday

Normally, such a gesture would have been made on the opening day of a Test match just like when the Indian and English teams paid tribute to victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on Day One of the Chennai Test in 2008.

The big question is whether the off-field decision-makers of both teams forgot this courtesy on Saturday.
