Silence observed, but why not on Day One itself?

Players from Indian and Australian teams observed a moment's silence for the Hyderabad blast victims before the start of Day Two of the ongoing second Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal yesterday

Silence observed, but why not on Day One itself?

Normally, such a gesture would have been made on the opening day of a Test match just like when the Indian and English teams paid tribute to victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on Day One of the Chennai Test in 2008.u00a0

The big question is whether the off-field decision-makers of both teams forgot this courtesy on Saturday.u00a0
