Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's hit 1981 romantic drama 'Silsila', which also starred Jaya Bachchan and Rekha, has clocked 34 years.
Amitabh Bachchan, 72, said he has no words to describe the experiences he went through during the shooting of the Yash Chopra-directed film.
"Silsila 34 years... Khuddar... And it all comes back with such detail that a narration of it would require the space of a space mission... But... It must be done some day... Here, there wherever... It must... Before, as many predict, I lose my brains!!," he wrote on his blog.
This was the last film to feature Rekha with Amitabh Bachchan.
Chopra had once revealed that he originally wanted to cast Parveen Babi and Smita Patil opposite Bachchan, but after consulting him, he chose to cast Jaya and Rekha in their respective roles.
