London: Kaushal Silva’s unbeaten 79 helped Sri Lanka score 162-1, a deficit of 254 runs at stumps on Day Two of the third Test against England at Lord’s here yesterday.

Silva added 108 runs for the opening wicket with Dimuth Karunaratne (50). Pacer Steven Finn bagged the lone Sri Lankan wicket.
Earlier, England were dismissed for 416 in their first innings. Jonny Bairstow remained unbeaten on 167 after last man James Anderson fell for four. Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath led SL’s attack 4-81.
