Some eateries don't need festivals to draw crowds. But try the Korean fare anyway

There's a reason why Shiro has become such a rage in such a short span of time. Its terrific interiors, its attention to detail, its excellent hospitality and most importantly the quality of food it serves should be an
eye-opener for many Delhi restaurants that spend a lot of money on themselves but still end up disappointing customers.

No wonder, Shiro has been doing good business simply on word of mouth. So was there a need for a festival to promote itself? But once there, we realised it's more than a gimmick. There's an assortment of Kimchi (spicy cabbage pickle), Musangchae (julienne radish), Kaktooge (diced radish), Namul (spinach sesame seasoned vegetable) and Togue (Bean sprout in sesame flavour).

For the main course, chose between Kimchi chigae (spicy Kimchi casserole with Pork), Kimbap (Sesame flavoured rice with chicken, spinach & cabbage kimchi rolled in Nori Sheet), Saewoo bokum bap (Korean style prawn fried rice with gochujang sauce), Haedo bap (marinated diced tuna with kimchi and gochujang sauce on the bed of rice), Ramyun (Korean style chicken noodle broth with vegetables) and Buldak (Barbequed chicken marinated in sweet soya sauce). Go visit!
