PSI Pradeep Khatmode of the Hinjewadi police station said Dhote, a resident of Libban Aramaic Park in Pimpale Saudagar, had arrived at office around 5.30 am yesterday.
He then went to the tenth floor of the multi-level parking lot around 8 am and jumped off the building.
It was Dhote’s colleagues who saw his body lying in a pool of blood and informed the office administration, which in turn rushed him to a nearby hospital where Dhote was declared dead on arrival.
After an autopsy was performed in the afternoon, the body was handed over to relatives. Several family members, including MLA Dhote, reached the YCM Hospital where Nikhil ’s body was kept.u00a0
