Over 300 bloggers and developers will come together to help people improve their blogging experience at the Word Camp 2014, to be held at Bandra
Are you a blogger, or planning to launch a blog of your own, but are unsure about how to go about it? Or, are you looking for ways to expand your blogging experience with new tools and plug-ins available on Wordpress.com? Drop by the two-day Mumbai Word Camp in Mumbai this weekend, might be a good idea. Organised by independent Wordpress bloggers and developers, the Word Camp is being organised in Mumbai for the second time, after its first edition in 2012.
Alexander Gounder, one of the lead organisers of the conference, says, “We are going to discuss all topics focussed at blogging on Wordpress, be it troubleshooting your blog, developing new themes, creating websites using the platform or/and exploring various tools and plug-ins available on the platform,” he says, adding, “This is a good place to meet people who can help solve your blogging problems.”
According to a report in 2013, nearly 36 million Indians used blogs to disseminate and receive information. The conference would see over 300 bloggers meet and discuss ways to improve their blogging experience, and learn how to use the platform, Wordpress.com for additional purposes.
