If all goes well, Shah Rukh Khan and former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly will be seen together on Dada's Zee Bangla TV show Dadagiri.

Sourav has been anchoring the quiz show for quite some time now. This will be their first public appearance together after the IPL this year (though Sourav has met up with Shah Rukh at his home in Mumbai after that).

Apart from Shah Rukh's association with Zee and Subhash Chandra Goel he's keen to come on the show for appearance's sakeu00a0- that relations between him and Sourav are not strained after the IPL but are absolutely rocking!"

Negotiations on
A source from the channel says, "The channel and SRK are in talks. Negotiations are on."
Sujoy Shetty, Business Head from Zee Bangla, says, "I can't tell you anything about Shah Rukh and Rani coming on Dadagiri right now.

However, I can say that Dadagiri is doing extremely well. We have had a record 1.5 lakh SMSes in four weeks, which is huge. As far as going national is concerned, we can't do that before January; that's when the Bengali version ends. If there's a national show of Dadagiri with Sourav hosting it, it will only come after January."
Shah Rukh Khan and Sourav Ganguly remained unavailable for comment.

What is Dadagiri?
During the show, Ganguly comes face-to-face with participants drawn from all the 19 districts of West Bengal, who have to answer questions asked by the cricketer. The 64-episode program is somewhere between a reality show and a quiz show. The participants will be tested for their presence of mind and ability to understand questions properly. Ganguly has inked a three-year contract with the channel. To cash in on Ganguly's dominance as a cricketer, different segments of the show have been given different cricketing nomenclature like selection, toss, power play and cover drive.
