Pune Warriors India skipper Sourav Ganguly played down the hype surrounding their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kolkata Knight Riders today.

Sourav says: Revenge does not exist in my book

“There is no word in my dictionary called as ‘revenge’. So, there is no question of taking any revenge. I don’t want to talk about KKR, Kolkata and Shah Rukh Khan because I don’t want any controversy,” Ganguly said after arriving here last night. The jubilant crowd went berserk as Dada made his way to the team bus.u00a0

Clarke is excited
Australia captain Michael Clarke said the team is looking forward to the high-profile clash. “We know it is a prestigious match for Sourav. Everybody wants to perform for this game. We are looking forward to playing KKR,” Clarke told MiD DAY.

The former India captain will be up against his former IPL team at his home ground Eden Garden. Ganguly was not retained by KKR after the 2010 season and went unsold in the 2011 players’ auction. He was, however, signed by Pune Warriors as a replacement for the injured Ashish Nehra in the last IPL. He was made captain and mentor after cancer-stricken Yuvraj Singh was ruled out of IPL-V.
