Spain will stick to 'boring' style: Xavi

Brilliant Spain playmaker Xavi (right) has rejected the claim his side are boring.

Spain has been facing criticism that their famous passing game merely prevents their opponents gaining possession rather than creating anything themselves.

In short, they are negative and boring. “If we are boring but we are winning, that is fantastic for us,” said the Barcelona man. “We are not bored. We will keep playing our game.”
