Spain's national court on Tuesday decided to keep former Barcelona President Sandro Rosell in detention.

Rosell's defence appealed against the decision, made on May 25, to send him to jail after charging the former Barcelona chief with money laundering.

The court decided to keep him in jail because of the high risk that he would flee the country and destroy evidence.
