Mother's dayu00a0who protects us like a warm cup of coffee on a cold day, who makes falling ill such a lovable experience by giving her big bear hug, who gives you the much needed massage after a hectic day's work , someone who would yell at you for the bad grades you scored but yet saved you from Dad's yelling . Sharing your joy with your mum is double the joy itself and sharing your sorrow helps you get off a major burden off. Midday interviews two such mothers Sumitra and Manjal Gupta and tells you about their most memorable moment with their "kids" and about those special bonding sessions that they have shared.
Manjal Gupta and her daughter Swati Gupta are so used to each other around, be it home or even work Swati can't do without her Mama around. Right from when she was a kid whether it was confiding her latest crush or her school grades the first person she could find is her Mama. Swati Gupta cant stop praising her mum and says" My mother has always be my idol.Both professionally and personally she has played her roles perfectly. She is the one who has taught me how to prioritize things."
Manjal Gupta attributes their special bond to the enormous time the spend together. The Mama says "Since we also work together there is absolutely no dearth of time. We work together, shop together, work out together and even go for our conferences abroad together!u00a0 " Yes so we all know how much fun this mum and daughter have. Swati even says her friends were also envious of the relationship she shared with her mum.u00a0 The most memorable time the two of the shared was when they went on a holiday to Paris. And surely they did indulge in a lot of shopping .This is something both of them are sure to treasure all there life. And Manjal Gupta quickly adds in "I cannot imagine shopping without Swati. She knows everything I want and picks them up for me before I can. "Swati Gupta concludes by saying "The bond I share with my mum is entirely cemented on trust and affection. I know she is one of the only people I can take for granted." That was such a chirpy mum and daughter we must admit.

The another Mama u00e2u0080u00a6Oops sorry Amma we interviewed was Sumitra, mother ofu00a0 the actor Sunil Roah and ,she sure is proud to be known as his mother. Their bond lies in the respectu00a0 and the space that they give each other. The only thing that they have is common is Music and that alone is enough. Sunil doesn't help his mother clean the house nor does he take her to the temple but yet Sumitra says he is the perfect son."I think the only word I find appropriate to describe the bond I share with my mother is Strange . I have never been a naughty kid and hence Amma didn't have to play the role of au00a0 conventional mother."u00a0
Suni didn't spend a lot of time with his mother during his childhood days as his mother was at the peak of her career with her then. And hence they are busy catching up on those times now. A few years back they built and decorated their special home. But later he confesses that his Amma did most of the work."I wanted both my kids not to be dependent on me. I wanted to instill a sense of responsibility in them and help them develop their own identity. "
On that note Sunil challenges that he shall get his mother to drink that French wine that lies in his cupboard. Sumitra has won the respect of all her fans through her singing and Sunil through his acting .Both of them have their own identities but yet they are incomplete without each other.
This mothers day Midday asks you to begin a new tradition with your mother. "Better late than never." Make these traditions and promise to spend time with your mother not just this mother's day but throughout the year. It might be just going for long walks, going to the temple together or simply updating the family photo album. The joy is priceless!u00a0u00a0
