Spot fixing trial: Amir being made a scapegoat

During the hearing of the spot-fixing trial against three Pakistani cricketers -- Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir -- the prosecution told the jury that fast bowler Amir is being made the scapegoat as the other two players have been blaming the youngster solely for the spot-fixing, according to a Cricinfo report.

On the 14th day of the trial at Crown Court in London, both Butt and Asif said that the evidence points towards Amir guilty of charge.
