The starlet features in Indra Kumar’s upcoming comic caper — a sequel to his 2004 film.
Chandi considers herself lucky to have bagged the role. “Within just a little while of my coming to Mumbai, I succeeded in getting a break. In fact, I felt I had messed up my scenes during the audition but when I was told that I was on board and I was over the moon!”
About working with co-stars Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi she states, “It was always fun as they would joke and make you comfortable on the sets. Director Indra Kumarji and producer Ashok Thakeriaji made me feel like family. Induji is very relaxed on the sets.”
Chandi is now looking at B-Town anew as she knows Hindi, which she feels should work in her favour.
