Finally, the much-awaited announcement by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education (MSBSHSE) on the SSC results was made yesterday. According to an official release by the MSBSHSE, SSC results across all eight divisions of the board in the state will be announced tomorrow (Friday, June 17) at 1 pm. The board has listed seven websites, including its official website https://www.msbshse.ac.in/, on which the results will be available. After declaration of results, colleges are expected to put up the first merit list for the FYJC admissions within 15 days.

Shahaji Dhekne, secretary of MSBSHSE, declared that the results would be announced on the basis of the best-five subjects formula that was adopted last year as well. Besides the seven websites, students can also get their results by sending text messages on official numbers declared by the board. The two numbers are 57766 or 573335000, and students who wish to get their results have to send a short code message in the format MHSSC to these numbers.u00a0Students from Mumbai circle can also send this message to 08800654242.

Schools will receive the mark-sheets only on June 27, after which the students will be eligible for applying for revaluation till July 7 along with a copy of the revaluation form. Students who are not happy with their marks can also go for a class improvement scheme and re-appear in September-October 2011.

24-hour counselling
The board has also made provision for 24-hour counselling of students and issued mobile numbers of seven counsellors, who will be available for solving students' queries.
