Mumbai: St Francis D’Assisi High School & Junior College (Borivli), won the Maharashtra state U-17 football title in Bhiwandi recently beating Nashik 4-1 in the final.

Skipper Brendon D’Souza, Jash Shah, Saurabh Phani and Denny John were the scorers for St Francis in the summit clash.

Earlier, in the quarter-finals the Borivli outfit had beaten Aurangabad 1-0, followed by a 5-4 win Kolhapur in the semi-finals.
