Established by SC Karkera in 1977, Mahesh Lunch Home's popularity has grown in leaps and bounds and the result is that they have a loyal clientele which includes the who's who of Maharashtra. The restaurant has played host to many celebrity guests including the Mangeshkar family, the Kapoor family, Jaya Bachchan, Sunil Gavaskar,u00a0 Nana Patekar and several others.

Mahesh Lunch Home's signature dishes include the Tawa Masala Fry, Fish Kolai, Butter Pepper Garlic, Crab in Chilly Garlic, Fish Fry in Hariyali. For starters, try the Prawn Butter Pepper Garlic, Squid Koliwada or the Tandoori Lobster. You can have it with the Solkadi, which serves as a digestive.
The Tandoori Crab is also a great option. Apart from that, the Tangy Prawn Curry (with coconut base) goes well with Appam, Neer Dosa and steamed rice. They have a variety of fried fish as well. Vegetarians need not worry as the menu offers a wide range of veg dishes as well.
