Student commits suicide over Telangana

Apparently frustrated by the delay in the formation of a separate state, Bandaru Srinivas, an engineering student, ended his life

He was found hanging from a tree opposite the library on the Osmania University campus. He hailed from Mahabubnagar district of Telangana region. Srinivas is the third student to end his life on the campus.

Meanwhile, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has made it clear that nothing short of a separate state of Telangana is acceptable to it. Party legislator Tarakarama Rao said people of the region would not accept any alternative to a separate state.
