For a while, Sunny Deol had been toying with the idea of launching his son Karan, better known by his pet name, Rocky. We hear, work is now in progress for his debut film tentatively titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Sunny, who will also direct the film, heads to New Delhi shortly to scout for a newbie to play Rocky’s love interest.

Says Sunny, “The character is based in Delhi, so taking a local girl on board will be apt. She will also be able to add her own touches to the persona.”

The actor-director adds that he and his team will audition girls aged between 16 and 20.

“I am looking for an enthusiastic, high-spirited girl, preferably someone fresh out of school. I am sure I will find the right face; Delhi has a lot of talent,” he adds. Like the title denotes, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas will be a romantic drama. Sunny is currently overseeing the script with his team of writers. Karan worked as an assistant director in his home production, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2012), which starred his grandfather, Dharmendra and uncle Bobby Deol alongside his father.

With such a legacy, he will be the third generation of Deols in tinsel town.
