After Bollywood actress Sunny Leone was announced Premier Futsal co-owner and brand ambassador of Kochi-based franchise Kerala Cobras, Preity Zinta was confirmed as the owner of the Stellenbosch franchise in South Africa's T20 Global League cricket tournament yesterday.

Premier Futsal Season 2 is set to kick off on September 15 in Mumbai where matches will be played at NSCI, Worli till September 17.

"I'm very excited to work with Luis Figo and Rademel Falcao. "Football is undoubtedly the most popular sport of Kerala and I'm a proud team owner," said Leone.
Meanwhile, Zinta said, "I would like to compliment and thank Haroon Lorgat, chief of Cricket South Africa for his unrelenting persistence, passion and belief in the T20 Global league which inspired me to come on board."
Zinta is also the co-owner of the Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab since 2008 and at that stage was the only woman owner of an IPL franchise.
